Those candidates are interested can apply for the post through online mode from the official website. The total number of vacancies are 860. Selection Process
FCI has called out candidates for watchman/chowkidar/security guard posts at Amritsar in Punjab. Usually, the candidate must fill the application form to appear for the selection process. There will be primarily three stages for the job selection process- Written Examination, Physical Test, and Interview. In general, the candidates who score above 40% in the written exam will be eligible for the Physical Test.
- Written Examination
The candidate should answer 120 MCQs within 90 minutes. In general, the question paper is given in three languages- English, Punjabi, and Hindi. The candidates are allowed to choose their convenient language to give the exam during the application process. The topics from which the questions are asked in the exam are General Knowledge, Current Affairs, English, Reasoning, and Numerical Ability.
- Physical Education Test Details
The qualified candidates in the written examination are eligible for the FCI physical test. This test includes various activities such as running, high jump, and long jump. However, the physically disabled candidates are excluded from the physical test. They are usually asked for the medical certifications of the Civil Surgeon from their respective districts.
