Aeronautical Engineers Activities
Aeronautical Engineers carry out multiple activities like:
- Design and development of aircraft parts
- Testing of new aerodynamic and aviation systems, quality management and improvement maintenance
- Conferring with clients about their needs and making revisions to factor in feasibility, production time and cost
- Constructing prototypes to determine if the proposed design specifications are safe
- Writing technical reports, manuals and bulletins, as well as reviewing performance reports
- Studying the effects of aircraft on the environment, fuel efficiency, etc.
BTech Aeronautical Engineering ; Eligibility Criteria :-
The eligibility criteria for B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering are as follows –
- Applicants should be at least 10+2 qualified from a recognised Board
- Applicants should at least have secured more than or equivalent to 60% aggregate in their qualifying examination in science stream
- It is compulsory for the applicants to have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the 10+2 level
- Students with an equivalent qualification can also apply
Selection Process
Once the application process is complete, the university may decide to conduct a final counseling session or a round of group discussion or personal interview before confirmation of admission. The personal interview can sometimes be done as a filtration process to pick students more inclined to the subject. National level colleges in association with armed forces conduct a physical fitness examination before the admission process. The desired fitness levels are set according to Indian Air Force recruitment standards.
