Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday have been rumoured to be dating for quite some time, despite the fact that the two have stayed tight-lipped about the rumours. On Monday night in Mumbai, the two young actors were photographed entering together for what appears to be a screening of Jersey, which stars Ishaan’s older brother Shahid Kapoor.
Ananya and Ishaan are seen in the car together in the pap photos, while the two actors are seen disembarking from the car when they arrive at their destination. Ananya is dressed in a casual black tank top with jeans, while Ishaan is clothed in military fatigues and a black jacket. In one of the photos, Shahid may also be seen in the automobile. Fans reacted with ‘aww’ and ‘uff’ when they saw the purported couple’s photos together. One netizen commented, “How cute they look.”
In the 2020 film Khaali Peeli, Ananya and Ishaan starred together. Their off-screen chemistry during the film’s promotion in Goa sparked rumours that they were dating. They used to spend a lot of time together wandering about the coastal state. Later that year, they were seen walking hand-in-hand at Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Diwali event, possibly confirming the rumours. After that, the two travelled to the Maldives to celebrate the New Year together.
Ananya was questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in October of this year about her alleged role in the narcotics case that led to Aryan Khan’s detention. According to reports, Ishaan gave her emotional support throughout the ordeal. That week, he was seen with a bouquet of flowers at her residence.
Despite the media’s attention to their connection, the two have never talked publicly about it. Ishaan did, however, wish Ananya on her birthday later in October with a post on his social media. “May the truth, strength, and love always remain with you,” Ishaan wrote with two photos of Ananya, including one from their Maldives holiday.
