Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent certificate from a recognised university.
- After graduation, one year of practical/teaching experience at a respectable firm/recognized technical university is required.
- Bengali (spoken and written) knowledge.
- Ability to organise and administrate is a desirable qualification.
NOTE:The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Public Service Commission, West Bengal for otherwise well qualified andexperienced candidates.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2022):
- The age limit for he candidates applying for the above mentioned post should be Not more than 37 years

Salary:
- The salary for the post of Assistant Director Of Industrial Training/ Principal Of Industrial Training Institutes is Level 16 as per Ropa,2019.
WBPSC Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:
- The above-mentioned position will be filled through a screening test and an interview.
- The ‘necessary qualities’ listed are the very minimum, and mere possession of them does not entitle applicants to an interview.
- When a large number of applications are received in response to an advertisement and it is not practical for the Commission to interview all of the applicants, the Commission may limit the number of candidates called for interview to a reasonable number based on either higher qualifications/higher marks/grades obtained in the essential qualifications or experience in the relevant field than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement, or on both.
Qualifying Marks:
- General – 40%
- OBC – 38%
- SC – 35%
