RBI Assistant Recruitment 2022 – Reserve Bank of India invites the online application for 926 posts of Assistant in various offices of the Bank. Candidates with the qualification of Bachelor’s Degree within the age limit of 20 to 28 years are eligible to apply for this job. The selection process is based on the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 17 February 2022 to 8 March 2022. The detailed eligibility and application process are given below.

Reserve Bank of India Assistant Recruitment – Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification :
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% (pass class for SC/ST/PWD applicants) in the aggregate and competence of word processing on a computer is required.
- A candidate in the Ex-servicemen category (excluding dependents of ex-servicemen) must be a graduate of a recognised university or have passed the Armed Forces’ matriculation or equivalent test and have served in the military for at least 15 years.
- Candidates looking for a position in a particular recruiting office should be fluent in the language of the state/any of the states that come under the recruiting office (i.e., be able to read, write, speak, and understand the language).
Age Limit: Between 20 and 28 years
- SC / ST: 5 years, i.e. up to 33 years
- OBC: 3 years, i.e. up to 31 years
- PWD: 10 years (GEN/ EWS), 13 years (OBC) & 15 years (SC/ST)
Selection Process for RBI Assistant Recruitment:
- The Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Language Proficiency Test will be used to make the final decision (LPT).
- Final selection will be based on online exam performance, LPT qualification, medical fitness, certificate verification, biometric data, and other factors.

Language Proficiency Test (LPT):
- The LPT will be of the qualifying variety. Candidates who were provisionally chosen from the On-line Test will be required to take a language competence test (LPT).
- The LPT will be conducted in the state’s official or regional language.
- Candidates who are unable to communicate in the Official/Local Language will be disqualified.
