Neha Dhupia wished former cricketer Kapil Dev a happy birthday. She posted candid photos from their meeting, as well as a statement in which she mentions Kapil’s cat.
Neha captioned the photos she posted on Instagram: “Sir @therealkapildev, happy birthday! Here’s to a year full with happiness, croissant chats, and you showing our baby girl more videos of your adorable little kitty… We adore you.”
“Happy birthday @therealkapildev,” she captioned one of her Instagram Stories photos. “All of us, including #mehrdhupiabedi, adore you.”
The photos show Neha, her actor-husband Angad Bedi, and their daughter Mehr spending time with Kapil Dev and his wife Romi. Mehr may also be seen standing on a chair, whispering something into Kapil’s ear while his wife watches.
Kapil knows Angad’s cricketer father, Bishan Singh Bedi. The former made headlines lately after a film named 83, based on India’s victory in the 1983 Cricket World Cup, was released in theatres. Ranveer Singh played him as the captain of the World Cup-winning team.
Neha and Angad spent New Year’s Eve in Goa with their daughter Mehr, their three-month-old boy, and Neha’s parents. She’d posted a few family photos from the beach to Instagram with the message, “There are no regrets or resolutions, only gratitude… #bye2021… 2022 is the year of kindness.”
In October of last year, Neha and Angad welcomed a baby boy, the name of whom they have yet to announce. Neha was last seen in the film Sanak, which also starred Vidyut Jammwal. She was also a guest on Bigg Boss 15, an ongoing reality show. She’ll be seen in the upcoming film A Thursday.
