Job Description:
- Repair requests from guests are responded to and attended to.
- To fix maintenance difficulties, communicate with guests/customers.
- Preventive maintenance, such as cleaning and lubrication, should be performed on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment.
- Inspect tools, equipment, or machines visually.
- Transport the necessary equipment (e.g., tools, radio).
- Identify, locate, and operate all equipment shut-off valves as well as any building utility shut-offs.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance parts and supplies and requisition them as needed.
- Use established communication plans and standards to communicate each day’s activity and difficulties to the other shifts.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge or the ability to learn in the areas of air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building.
- All surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and complete and thorough cleanup of the painting or repair area are all performed.
- Before completing any maintenance work, use the Lockout/Tagout system.
- Make repairs to the interior and outside landscaping, as well as the landscape sprinklers on the outside.
- Demonstrate basic computer skills, such as entering air handler schedules and changing the temperature.
- Follow all company and safety and security rules and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; obtain all necessary safety training and certifications; and store combustible products safely.
- Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintain the security of private information, and safeguard corporate assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with corporate standards, anticipate and respond to guests’ service needs, assist people with impairments, and express genuine gratitude to them.
- Keep quality demands and standards in mind.
- Develop and maintain positive working connections with colleagues, assist the team in achieving common objectives, and listen to and respond properly to other employees’ concerns.
- Bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping are all examples of reaching overhead and below the knees.
- Computers are used to enter and locate work-related data.
- Other acceptable job responsibilities will be assigned as needed.
