In the midst of wedding rumours surrounding Karishma Tanna and businessman Varun Bangera, Ekta Kapoor intimated in an Instagram post that the couple is definitely getting married. At a recent party, the producer hung around with the couple and a group of other pals. On their Instagram stories, Ekta and Karishma shared peeks of the get-together.
Ekta also shared a video with the newlyweds, sending a heartfelt message of congratulations. “Way to go, Varun and Karishma!” “Wishing you all the best for a fantastic future together.”
Ekta briefly brings Karishma and Varun into the video to deliver a message – presumably to congratulate them. Ekta’s comments are not heard in the clip because the video is placed to the song Madhaniyan. Harleen Sethi, who was also there at the party, says something to Karishma, who then busts out laughing at the conclusion of the video. Karishma also re-shared an Instagram storey involving Varun, which was a first.
The couple’s friends flooded them with congratulatory messages earlier this month, fueling suspicion about Karishma and Varun’s engagement. While posting a loved-up snapshot of Karishma chilling in Varun’s arms, a pal remarked, “To infinity and beyond….. Congratulations babies.” At the time, the actor also uploaded a sliver of a cake with the words “Congratulations” written on it.
Upen Patel, an actor, was formerly engaged to Karishma Tanna. In an interview with Hindustan Times in 2017, Karishma said of parting ways with him, “That’s a part of your life.” Because I have no idea what the future holds, I choose to live in the present. I was very enthusiastic and optimistic about a lot of things, but if they didn’t work out, there had to be a reason. Accepting the reality is difficult, but you must move on now with your life.”
Karishma Tanna has appeared in a number of television shows, including Ekta Kapoor’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahi To Milenge, as well as Jeanie Aur Juju, Qayamat Ki Raat, and Adaalat. She has also been on series like Bigg Boss 8, Nach Baliye 7, and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9. She took home the title of Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 champion.
