LIC ADO Selection Procedure Details. India’s Life Insurance Company (LIC) is India’s largest life insurance company with 2048 branches and 109 offices. LIC is looking for apprentice development managers under the jurisdiction of different business units under nine different zones. The details of the selection process are as follows.
Selection Procedure : The selection procedure contains three Stages.
1. Online Test:
i. The online test is an objective type, with multiple choices of two-hour
a. Test of Reasoning and Numerical Ability
b. General Knowledge, Current Affairs and English Language with Special emphasis on Grammar and Vocabulary.
ii. Candidates are required to submit each dissertation individually and get a minimum score on the total of the two dissertations in order to qualify for the interview. The minimum score for each paper and total shall be determined by the LIC of India.
iii. The score obtained by the candidate for each paper and total shall be reached after deducting the incorrect answer score.

Phase I (Preliminary Exam) Note : The English language test is qualified, and English language scores are not counted in the ranking. Candidates with 20 times the number of vacancies in each category, depending on the circumstances, will be shortlisted for the main exam.

2. Interview: Candidates who successful in the Online test will be called for an Interview. Candidate who does not obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the Interview shall be disqualified for further selection.
3. Medical Examination: Selected candidate will be appointed as Apprentice Development Officer subject to him/her being found medically fit by the Medical Examiner authorized by LIC for the purpose.
