Educational Qualification:
Senior Research Fellow (NICRA-CGC Project):
- M.Tech/M.E (Soil Water Conservation Engineering/ Land and Water Management Engineering); Master’s degree in Geography, Geology, or Geoinformatics as per ICAR criteria are required.
- Desirable: Working knowledge of big data analytics, artificial intelligence (Al and 10T), GIS and remote sensing, and computer programming
Young Professional I (NICRA-CGC Project):
- According to ICAR criteria, holders of a postgraduate degree or a graduate degree (Soil Water Conservation Engineering/ Land and Water Management Engineering, Geography, Geology, Geo-informatics) are eligible.
Senior Research Fellow (NePPA Project):
- M.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Land and Water Management, Electronics, Instrumentation, and IoT-related fields
- NET A three-year bachelor’s degree qualifies you for this position.
- NET Qualification is not required for candidates with a 4- or 5-year bachelor’s degree or a Ph.D. in the above-mentioned fields.
- Selected candidates having greater qualifications than those listed in the advertisement will not be eligible for increased remuneration.
- Desirable: Experience in IoT, embedded programming, and robotics research and analysis
Young Professional II (NePPA Project):
- B.Tech in Computer Science/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Computer Application/ IT/ Artificial Intelligence with at least 60 percent marks and one year experience in the relevant field OR Master Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ IT/ Artificial Intelligence with at least 60 percent marks and one year experience in the relevant field
- Desirable: Working knowledge of any programming language, such as C, Python, or Metlab. IoT, cloud computing, embedded programming
Young Professional I (NePPA Project):
- B. Tech. in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ IT/ Artificial Intelligence/ Electronics/ Electricals OR Diploma in Computer Science/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Computer Application/ IT/ Artificial Intelligence with one-year experience in the relevant field.
Field Assistant (ICAR – CIMMYT Project):
- Matric with a +2 vocational in agriculture or a Matric with an ITI certificate and a desire to work in the rice fields
- Desirable: Experimentation experience in the agricultural field
Maximum Age Limit (as on 26/02/2022):
- For SRF: 35 years for men & 40 years for women;
- For YP—II & YP-I: 45 years;
- For Field Assistant: 35 years for men & 40 years for women.
