Educational Qualification:
- Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) with least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university/institute.

Power Grid Recruitment – Selection Process:
- The selection process comprises of normalized marks (out of 100) acquired in the GATE 2021 related paper, behavioral assessment, group discussion, and personal interview.
- Eligible candidates must have qualified and received a valid score in the GATE 2021 corresponding paper. Candidates will be short-listed for Behavioral Assessment, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview based on their normalized marks out of 100 in the GATE-2021 corresponding paper only, and according to the criteria set by the Management. Candidates would be able to choose whether to participate in the GD/interview in Hindi or English.
- Candidates who have been selected for a Group Discussion and Interview must bring the documents stated in their interview call letter.
- In order to be considered for empanelment, candidates must pass the Personal Interview.
- For each category, the qualifying percent in the interview is as follows:
- Percentage of candidates who pass the interview: 40% for the unreserved category, which includes EWS, and 30% for the reserved category.
- The weightages of marks acquired in GATE 2021, Group Discussion, and Interview shall be as specified below for calculating a candidate’s ultimate score for empanelment: GATE 2021 marks (out of 100): 85 percent, 3 percent for group discussion, and 12 percent for personal interview

- SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
